The Arthurian Ritual of the Pentagram


The Opening (or, the Cymric Druid's Cross)

Face East. Touch the forehead, and vibrate "WYT TI."
Point to the feet, and vibrate "DEYRNAS."
Touch the left shoulder, and vibrate "A'R NERTH."
Touch the right shoulder, and vibrate "A'R GOGONIANT."
Clasp the hands over the heart, and vibrate "YN OES OESOEDD, AMEN."


The Pentagrams in the Quarters.

Inscribe a large Banishing Earth pentagram in the East. Make the Sign of the Enterer and vibrate "TARANIS."
Turn to the South. Inscribe a large Banishing Earth pentagram. Make the Sign of the Enterer and vibrate "LLEW."
Turn to the West. Inscribe a large Banishing Earth pentagram. Make the Sign of the Enterer and vibrate "MANAWYDDAN."
Turn to the North. Inscribe a large Banishing Earth pentagram. Make the Sign of the Enterer and vibrate "ARAWN."
Complete the casting of the circle by turning to the East.


The Heroes in the Quarters

Make the Sign of Arthur Returned.
Say, "Before me," and vibrate "PEREDUR."
Say, "Behind me," and vibrate "GWALCHAVED."
Say, "To my right," and vibrate "GWALCHMAI."
Say, "To my left," and vibrate "PWYLL."


The Call for Arthur's Return

While continuing to stand in the Sign of Arthur Returned, say the following:

"Now, Over all, the Bounty of Arthur is Manifest."

Make the Sign of Arthur at Camlann, and say,

"Dychweled Arthur i'r Ddaer!"


The Closing

Touch the forehead, and vibrate "WYT TI."
Point to the feet, and vibrate "DEYRNAS."
Touch the left shoulder, and vibrate "A'R NERTH."
Touch the right shoulder, and vibrate "A'R GOGONIANT."
